Oliver Jeker studied chemistry at ETH Zurich, conducting research towards his Master’s thesis at Princeton University. Subsequently, he earned a doctoral degree at the Laboratory for Organic Chemistry of ETH Zurich. Oliver Jeker started his work in intellectual property law in 2013 in a renowned Swiss patent law firm. He later worked for several years in the patent department of a leading international chemical company. He has been a professional representative before the European Patent Office since 2017 and a Swiss patent attorney since 2019. In addition, he is authorized to represent before the Unified Patent Court (UPC) as a European Patent Litigator. Oliver Jeker joined RENTSCH PARTNER as a patent attorney in 2021. He is also a tutor in the international section of the Center for International Intellectual Property Studies (CEIPI) at the University of Strasbourg and involved as an examiner for the Swiss patent attorney examination.
